BORUSSIA DORTMUND reportedly want Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan.
And they are set to launch an offer for the Chelsea winger ‘soon’.
According to Sky Germany, the Bundesliga side are desperate to land a new winger before transfer deadline day on Tuesday.
They sold star wide man Jadon Sancho to Manchester United for £73million earlier in the summer.
And the report states they have identified former Bayern Munich and Atalanta target Hudson-Odoi as the ideal candidate, initially on a temporary basis.
However, there has been no official approach just yet – and the Germans would need to act swiftly to get a deal done in this window.
To make things harder for Dortmund, Thomas Tuchel is reluctant to allow his player to leave.
The Blues boss said: “There’s always room for improvement here in training.

“It’s hard to argue that he needs regular game time to improve his level. At the same time, it’s not only about letting players go.
“If we want to compete in all competitions, it’s also about numbers.
“You need a squad of 20 to 21 players. I have the feeling that Callum decided to fight for his place here.
“He had a very good pre-season. The door is always open to sneak through. At the moment, there is no loan.”
Hudson-Odoi, 20, needs to be playing football again, though.
He is yet to feature for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, instead remaining an unused sub in all three matches so far.
Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner are all ahead of him in the pecking order to play in the attacking roles either side of Romelu Lukaku.
Hudson-Odoi, a product of the Blues academy, has been used at wing-back by Tuchel in the past but Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James are the primary choices down the right with Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell on the left.
U21 SNUB
The winger rejected a call-up to the England Under-21 squad out of frustration this week.
He has three senior Three Lions caps to his name and wants to be involved with Gareth Southgate’s set-up again.
New U21 boss Lee Carsley, 47, said: “Callum is a player we really like. I’ve had some really good conversations with him and his advisor and Callum felt that it wasn’t the right time for him at the minute to come with England.
“He’s stayed back at Chelsea to work on his development there. I respected that decision.”
Tuchel added: “It’s his personal decision and nothing to do with my opinion or the club’s.
“It’s about disappointment he is not nominated for the first team, but at the same time maybe did not have enough minutes to be nominated for it.
“We don’t have to feel sorry for him. Once the door is a little bit open we demand he puts his feet in between it and he makes his mark.”
